Day 6 | Xi 'an to Chengdu one day tour: Big Wild Goose Pagoda + Hui Street + pick-up service After breakfast, you will visit the famous cultural landmark of Xi 'an-the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. Located within the Daci' en Temple, this pagoda is the oldest and largest surviving Tang Dynasty square pavilion-style brick tower, with a seven-story structure standing approximately 64 meters tall. Here, you can admire the ancient architectural style and view the scriptures and Buddha statues brought back by Master Xuanzang from India. You can also climb this thousand-year-old pagoda to enjoy the cityscape of Xi 'an. Here, you can admire the charming giant pandas and learn about their living habits and conservation efforts. Known as the Chengdu Panda Base, this facility houses over 100 giant pandas, making it the world's largest captive giant panda breeding center. You will see pandas of all ages playing, eating, climbing mountains and trees, and sleeping in the park. Day 8 | Chengdu to Lhasa: airport pick-up service After breakfast, you will have some free time in Chengdu before the driver takes you to the airport for a flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival in Lhasa, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit. Upon your arrival on the plateau, it is most important to slow down and relax. We will take you to the hotel for a full rest so that your body can gradually adapt to the high-altitude atmosphere. Zaxi Delo!! Additionally, a teacher will guide you in learning how to write your name in Tibetan and engage in woodblock printing. The Tibetan incense you make and the printed text you create can be taken home as souvenirs from your Tibet trip. In the afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery, one of the six major Gelugpa monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism. [Sera Monastery] is one of the three major monasteries in Lhasa, alongside Drepung Monastery and Ganden Monastery. The monastery houses over ten thousand Vajra Buddha statues, with the most famous being the 'Horse-Headed Vajra' statue, located in the Dharmapala Hall of the Jigacang. Another highlight of Sera Monastery is the debate activities among the lamas. Day 10 | A one-day tour of Lhasa: Potala Palace + Jokhang Temple + Barkhor Street After breakfast, visit the Potala Palace, the world's highest ancient palace-fortress complex. The Potala Palace, located on the Marpori Hill in the northwest of Lhasa, is a magnificent structure that combines palace, fortress, and temple elements. It is the largest and most complete ancient palace-fortress complex in Tibet. The Potala Palace, built on a hill, has 13 stories and stands 117.19 meters tall, stretching over 400 meters from east to west. As you ascend the long staircase of the Potala Palace, you will enjoy panoramic views of Lhasa, taking photos and resting along the way. Then, step into the Potala Palace to explore this mysterious and ancient palace, rarely depicted in pictures online. Then, visit the Jokhang Temple, a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhist believers.
